ADRs End Mixed; ArcelorMittal, Credit Suisse Trade Actively

Dow Jones News

International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on
Friday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
rose 0.2% to 139.63, the European index climbed 0.4% to 136.19 and
the Latin American index ticked up 0.1% to 181.63. But the Asian
index retreated 0.3% to 159.03 and the emerging-markets index edged
down 0.9% to 265.95.
ArcelorMittal SA was among companies whose ADRs traded actively,
with the Luxembourgian steelmaker's ADRs edging up 0.8%.
The bump came after ArcelorMittal's Ukrainian subsidiary
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC said its operations will restart as
quickly as Ukrainian power supply is restored after Russian missile
strikes largely suspended production.
Credit Suisse Group AG's ADRs tumbled 6.3% even as the Swiss
bank is pulling in about $4.2 billion of new equity funding, part
of a share selloff by the global investment bank to help pay for a
sweeping overhaul after financial losses and a string of
scandals.
