Accenture PLC raised its fiscal 2022 revenue guidance while lowering the high end of its earnings outlook, as the strong U.S. dollar weighs on results.

The Dublin-based consulting company said it expects fiscal 2022 revenue to grow 25.5% to 26.5% in local currency, up from prior guidance of 24% to 26% growth. The company's fiscal year is expected to end around Aug. 31.

The company said it now expects fiscal-year earnings to be in the range of $10.61 to $10.70 a share. The company previously expected earnings to be in the range of $10.61 to $10.81 a share.

Accenture said its outlook assumes a negative foreign-exchange impact on its results in U.S. dollars of 4.5% compared with fiscal 2021. The company previously expected a negative 3% foreign-exchange impact.
