Walgreens and DoorDash on Thursday said they would offer a new on-demand delivery service, which will see customers in Chicago, Atlanta and Denver be able to order products from Walgreens via DoorDash.

Customers can use the DoorDash app and website to order more than 2,300 items from Walgreens, the companies said, adding they plan to offer more than 5,000 items by the end of this summer.

The service is slated for expansion to other major markets including Cincinnati, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Seattle, the companies said.

The companies also said Walgreens is available on DashPass, DoorDash's subscription service.
