EV maker Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is fixing an issue with side marker
lights for over 435,000 vehicles in China with a software update.
The issue could result in a collision in extreme circumstances,
according to Reuters. The software update counts as a recall and
encompasses Model 3 as well as Model Y vehicles. Last month, Tesla
also recalled over 80,000 vehicles in China owing to issues
associated with software and seat belt. Separately, today, Tesla is
finally delivering the first electric semi truck at an event in
Giga Nevada. The delivery comes after years of a wait since the
vehicle’s first unveiling in 2017.
