T-Mobile Buying Wireless Assets From South Dakota Public Agency

T-Mobile US Inc. agreed to purchase wireless assets from a local
government agency in South Dakota.
T-Mobile said Monday it reached a deal to purchase cell sites
and wireless and data services operating under the Sprint brand
from Brookings Municipal Utilities in Brookings, S.D.
The utility has about 14,000 wireless and data customers who are
spread across Sioux Falls, Watertown, and Brookings as well Sioux
City, Iowa, T-Mobile said.
The company "expects to fully integrate the acquired assets into
T-Mobile's network and retail distribution in the region," it said.
The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter.
