Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On May 25, 2021, Moleculin Biotech, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing it has received clearance to initiate its Phase 1b/2 clinical trial evaluating Annamycin for the treatment of soft tissue sarcoma (STS) lung metastases.
