The U.K. Competition and Markets Authority said Tuesday that it
is considering whether Intel Corp.'s proposed sale of its NAND and
SSD business to SK Hynix Inc. might hurt competition in the
U.K.
The antitrust watchdog said it is inviting comments on the deal
from any interested parties until May 11.
U.S. chip maker Intel in October reached a deal to sell its
flash-memory manufacturing business to South Korean peer SK Hynix
for about $9 billion.
