(1)  This sale was made by an entity controlled by the spouse of Laura Niklason, the Reporting Person. This sale was done as a block trade to an existing investor of Humacyte, Inc. Laura Niklason is treated as indirectly beneficially owning the shares sold, resulting in the requirement to file this Form 4.
