Julie Mussog Joins Glen Burnie Bancorp’s Board of Directors

Glen Burnie Bancorp (“Bancorp”) (NASDAQ: GLBZ), the bank holding
company for The Bank of Glen Burnie (“Bank”), announced today the
election of Julie Mussog to its Board of Directors effective May 9,
2019.

experience, strong track record in implementing initiatives that
improve financial operations, and in-depth understanding of the
economic drivers of the Anne Arundel market uniquely position her

to underserved markets and encourage growth and expansion in the
local community. She brings a wealth of corporate finance expertise
and audit experience to the Company. Her contributions will help
drive the growth and oversight needs of the bank as we continue to
best serve the financial needs of our local community and bring
value to our shareholders.”
Julie Mussog recently joined MuniCap, Inc., a
public finance consulting firm in Columbia, Maryland, where she
holds the position of Senior Vice President. Previously, Ms. Mussog
served as President and CEO of the Anne Arundel Economic
Development Corporation (AAEDC) where she directed economic
development activities to attract increased capital investments and
expand and diversify employment opportunities. In this role,
she implemented economic development goals for the County in
coordination with the development community and local businesses.
In addition, she analyzed existing economic situations relative to
business attraction and expansion. Prior to her time at AAEDC, she
served as Controller for Anne Arundel County where she was the
chief financial officer responsible for the administration of the
County’s financial affairs.
Ms. Mussog holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a
Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s
Ross School of Business. A licensed Certified Public Accountant,
she has extensive financial management experience including
reporting and forecasting, budgeting and audit support for number
organizations including several Fortune 500 corporations.
Mussog’s passion for community development is also evident by
her service to numerous civic organizations including Junior League
of Annapolis where she held various leadership positions. A strong
community advocate and leader, she is a graduate of the Flagship
Leadership Anne Arundel program and served as past Treasurer and
Board Member of the Eastport Civic Association.
