On January 28, 2021, East West Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced, via press release, its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 (the “Press Release”). The Press Release is available on the Company’s website. The Press Release is “furnished” as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K pursuant to General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K and the information provided in Item 2.02 of this report, including Exhibit 99.1, shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liabilities under that Section.
