Item 8.01. Other Events

On February 15, 2020, Brookline Bank (“Brookline”) and First Ipswich Bank (“First Ipswich”), both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Brookline Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) completed the previously announced merger of First Ipswich with and into Brookline.
