BEDFORD, Mass., April 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Aware, Inc.
(NASDAQ: AWRE), a leading global provider of biometrics software
products, solutions and services, today announced that its
CaptureSuite™ solution has been chosen by an important European
government for deployment at its borders.
By incorporating Aware's CaptureSuite fingerprint capture
software into its traveler processing systems the border
agency is able to rapidly capture fingers of people crossing the
borders of the country in a way that ensures rapid capture to help
minimize queue buildup but also to ensure optimal quality of the
captured fingerprints.
CaptureSuite is a set of three Aware fingerprint SDKs that apply
a variety of fingerprint biometric algorithms to enable rapid, high
quality, fingerprint capture and quality assurance that is
independent of the capture device used. The deployment of
CaptureSuite at the country's borders follows the recent, but
unrelated, deployment of the same CaptureSuite solution by the U.S.
Customs and Border Protection Agency at U.S. land border
crossings.
"Aware has been a trusted biometric vendor to important European
countries for many years," said Bob Eckel, Aware's CEO &
President. "We are proud to continue our mission to assist
our government partners to protect their sovereign
borders with a modern, optimized, fingerprint capture system."
More information about CaptureSuite (LiveScan API,
SequenceCheck, and WSQ1000) is available on the Aware's product
webpage. Aware will be exhibiting at the Biometric Institute
Conference October 19-23 in
London.
