--Apple Inc. (AAPL) is increasing its investment in podcasts which would be exclusive to its service, Bloomberg reports Tuesday, citing "people familiar with the matter."

--Apple has been negotiating to acquire exclusive rights to podcasts from media companies, the report said.

--An Apple representative declined to comment, the report said.
