Amazon to Open Fulfillment Center in Iowa

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) Thursday said it plans to open its first
fulfillment center in Iowa later this year.
The 645,000 square-foot center, to be launched in Bondurant,
will employ 1,000 new workers, said Alicia Boler Davis, the
company's vice president of global customer fulfillment.
Employees would pick, pack and ship small items such as books,
electronics and toys to customers at the center, the company
said.
