Airbus SE said Wednesday at the Singapore Airshow that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, or CAAS, over urban air mobility within the Asian country.

"Airbus and CAAS will collaborate to define and develop an initial urban air mobility service with an unmanned aircraft system," the European plane maker said. Both will also work on an unmanned traffic-management system among other projects, the company said.
