Web3 protocol iExec has unveiled its 2025
roadmap, including core commitments to enhance the utility of
the RLC token, deepen AI integration, and broaden its decentralized
ecosystem. The plan outlines a multi-pronged strategy to foster
innovation and strengthen iExec’s position in confidential
computing and decentralized physical infrastructure networks
(DePIN).
iExec will amplify the RLC token’s role in 2025, enhancing its
liquidity and utility industry-wide. New cillaboration with
centralized exchanges will improve trading access, while expanded
liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges will serve to deepen
liquidity while offering new holder incentives. The iExec Voucher
mechanism, launched in closed beta in 2024, will scale, locking
more RLC within the ecosystem by simplifying how developers use the
token to pay for resources.
Gilles Fedak, CEO and co-founder of iExec, said: “For 2025 and
beyond we have a clear focus on expanding access to our technology
and increasing RLC’s value within a growing ecosystem. This roadmap
reflects our commitment to developers, users, and partners, and
being at the forefront of emerging trends.
Trusted AI has become a topic of global concern, iExec will
focus on expanding its Trusted AI framework. Leveraging Intel’s
Trusted Domain Extensions (TDX) alongside existing SGX technology,
iExec will increase TDX workerpool availability to secure AI
computations. The AiExec initiative will roll out the iApp
Generator, a tool to simplify Trusted AI applications , including
AI agents development. Strengthened ties with Intel and Nvidia,
building on a 2024 Gold Membership in Intel’s Partner Alliance,
will bolster infrastructure for advanced machine learning, aligning
with growing demand for privacy-preserving AI.
iExec’s ecosystem will further expand through strategic
partnerships and Collaborations in AI, DePIN, and decentralized
computing – spanning TEEs, GPUs, and storage – will drive adoption
with collaborations for models for more TEE machines available on
the network, where external entities manage their workerpools
while adhering to iExec’s governance and Confidential Computing
standards.
Following 2024’s $10 million startup competition collaboration
with Start in Block, iExec will renew this collaboration in 2025
and continue to allocate resources to AI projects and developer
initiatives, reinforcing ties with Nvidia, the Confidential
Computing Consortium, and ADAN. These efforts aim to unlock new RLC
use cases and support Web3 education and blockchain
integration.
Technological advancements in 2025 will prioritize scalability
and developer accessibility. iExec will deploy more TEE-enabled
GPUs to power confidential AI applications, complemented by new
tools like the iApp Generator for secure privacy-focused
applications using TEEs and Web3Mail and Web3Telegram tools to
allow projects to send messages and communicate securely to users
with their Telegram handle and email never being revealed.
Datapools will enable multi-dataset tasks, cutting costs and
network congestion, the work on the iExec Sidechain (Bellecour) and
Layer-2 research will focus on increasing throughput and enhancing
Ethereum interoperability, creating new RLC use cases. iExec’s
consensus algorithm (PoCo) and middleware improvements will
further optimize performance, ensuring robust support for
next-generation applications.
iExec’s marketing strategy will elevate visibility through
targeted campaigns and community engagement. A collaboration with
CoinMarketCap will feature live sessions, articles, and social
promotions, building on 2024’s 1.3 million-user Revolut campaign.
Expanded rewards programs will offer RLC incentives via new
platforms, while presence at global events such as ETHDenver,
Consensus Hong Kong, Token 2049, ETHCC, and Devconnect will include
hackathons and sponsorships.
Through enhancing utility, technical capabilities, and actioning
other deliverables on its 2025 roadmap, iExec aims to solidify its
role as a cornerstone of web3 infrastructure.
