ENNEUROPE PLC ("ENNEUROPE") - LEVEL OF ACCEPTANCES OF
THE RECOMMENDED OFFERS ("OFFERS") FOR
NEW OPPORTUNITIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC ("NOIT")

NOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN OR
INTO THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN OR
THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
By 3.00 pm (London time) on 26 July 2003, Enneurope had received valid
acceptances of the Offers from the holders of 8,148,196 NOIT Shares
(representing approximately 34.62 per cent. of the existing issued share capital
of NOIT) and the holders of 1,174,000 Warrants (representing approximately 26.91
per cent. of the issued Warrants). The Offers have been extended and the next
closing date for the Offers will be 3.00 pm on Friday 1 August 2003.
Immediately prior to the commencement of the Offer Period, Enneurope held
877,800 NOIT Shares, (representing approximately 3.73 per cent. of the issued
share capital of NOIT) and 175,560 Warrants (representing approximately 4.02 per
cent. of the issued Warrants). In addition, Enneurope had received irrevocable
undertakings in respect of 6,204,828 NOIT Shares (representing approximately
26.37 per cent. of the existing issued share capital of NOIT) and 1,024,000
Warrants (representing approximately 23.47 per cent. of the issued Warrants).
Therefore, in aggregate Enneurope owns or has received valid acceptances of the
Offers in respect of 9,025,996 NOIT Shares (representing approximately 38.36 per
cent. of the existing issued share capital of NOIT) and 1,349,560 Warrants
(representing approximately 30.94 per cent. of the issued Warrants).
The total number of acceptances received includes acceptances in respect of NOIT
Shares and Warrants which were the subject of the irrevocable undertakings to
accept the Offers referred to above.
Prior to the commencement of the Offer Period on 25 February 2003, save as
disclosed in the offer document dated 5 July 2003, neither Enneurope nor any
person acting or deemed to be acting in concert with it owned any NOIT Shares
(or rights over such shares) or Warrants nor since that date (other than as
disclosed above) has Enneurope or any person acting in concert with it acquired
or agreed to acquire any NOIT Shares (or rights over such shares) or Warrants.
This announcement, which is the sole responsibility of Enneurope, has been
approved by Altium Capital solely for the purpose of Section 21 of the Financial
Services and Markets Act 2000.
Altium Capital, which is authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom by the
Financial Services Authority, is acting exclusively for Enneurope as financial
adviser (within the meaning of the Rules of the Financial Services Authority)
and no-one else in connection with the Offers and is not advising any other
person or treating any other person as its client in relation thereto and will
not be responsible to anyone other than Enneurope for providing the protections
afforded to clients of Altium Capital or for providing advice in relation to the
Offers, the contents of this announcement or any other matters referred to
herein.
Terms defined in the offer document dated 5 July 2003 relating to the Offers
bear the same meanings when used in this announcement.
