Explanation of Responses:
(1)	Represents common shares of TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd. withheld for the payment of withholding taxes.
(2)	The price of common shares of TransAtlantic Petroleum, Ltd. withheld for taxes was calculated incorrectly in the reporting person's original Form 4.
(3)	Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive, upon vesting, one common share of TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd. This transaction represents the conversion upon vesting of restricted stock units into common shares of TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd.
(4)	The restricted stock units that vested on January 15, 2020 were incorrectly labeled as acquired in Column 5 of Table II in the reporting person's original Form 4.
(5)	The restricted stock units vest in three equal annual installments. The first installment vested on January 15, 2018, the second installment vested on January 15, 2019, and the third installment vested on January 15, 2020.
(6)	The restricted stock units vest in three equal annual installments. The first installment vested on January 15, 2019, the second installment vested on January 15, 2020, and the third installment will vest on January 15, 2021.
