Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 12, 2019, Lilis Energy, Inc. (the "Company") appointed Joseph C. Daches, age 52, as the new Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"). Mr. Daches, who joined the Company in 2016, brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in directing strategy and finance in primarily small and mid-size oil and gas companies. Mr. Daches has helped guide several oil and gas companies through financial strategy activities, capital raises, and both public and private offerings. Mr. Daches’s salary and compensation arrangement with the Company has not changed as a result of his formal assumption of the role of CEO of the Company.
