--Meta Platforms Inc. plans to close one of its New York offices
as part of a cost-reduction strategy, Bloomberg reports citing
unnamed sources.
--The social-media giant is exercising its option to end its
lease at 225 Park Ave. South in Manhattan, New York, Bloomberg
reports, adding that the scaling down of its expansion plans
includes a freeze on hiring and a restructuring of teams.
