10:26 a.m. ET -- Home Depot Inc. is one of the most talked about companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. The home-improvement retailer earlier Tuesday reported second-quarter sales of $43.79 billion and earnings of $5.17 billion, both of which it said were the highest in the company's history. Home Depot also backed its financial guidance for the 2022 fiscal year, which included total and comparable sales growth of about 3%. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva.
