ACS Receives CMS Certification for Mississippi Envision Medicaid Management Information System DALLAS, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., (NYSE:ACS), a premier provider of business process and information technology outsourcing solutions, announced today that the State of Mississippi has received certification from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for its HIPAA compliant Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). CMS certification of the MMIS developed and implemented by ACS, known as Envision, is retroactive to October 6, 2003, and represents the culmination of a successful development and implementation project for the State of Mississippi.
