Electricite de France SA targets core earnings of around 1.4 billion euros ($1.48 billion) for its customers, services and territories arm by 2030, according to the executive director in charge of the division, Marc Benayoun.

Mr. Benayoun said Wednesday at a press conference that the division's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were under EUR1 billion last year, while the group's total Ebitda amounted to EUR18 billion.

In terms of gas supplies, he said the division is "well covered" and that it doesn't buy gas from Russia.
