Blink Charging Co. shares rose 9% to $25.50 Tuesday after the company said it is deploying electric-vehicle chargers at General Motors dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.

The company said it is working with ABM, which delivers EV charging installations, in supplying its IQ 200 Level 2 chargers to participating GM dealerships across North America.

Blink said it has already shipped chargers to selected GM dealerships in all 50 states across the U.S. and currently has orders on hand to supply GM dealers in the U.S. and Canada with additional charging stations over the next several months.

"As transportation continues to shift toward becoming more electric, Blink's technologically advanced EV charging infrastructure will be a critical component of an automaker's ecosystem and will play a significant role in accelerating EV mass adoption," Chief Executive Michael D. Farkas said.
