HCA Healthcare Names McAlevey Legal Chief as Waterman Retires

HCA Healthcare Inc. on Tuesday said Michael McAlevey will join
as senior vice president and chief legal officer early next
year.
The Nashville, Tenn., healthcare-services provider said Mr.
McAlevey, currently vice president, general counsel and business
development leader for General Electric Co.'s GE Healthcare unit,
succeeds Robert Waterman, who is retiring at the end of the month
after 24 years with the company.
HCA said Mr. McAlevey, who joined GE in 2003 as chief corporate,
securities and governance counsel, has been in his current post
since 2018.
Mr. Waterman joined HCA as general counsel in 1997.
