STOCKHOLM--Swedish industrial tool maker Atlas Copco AB said Tuesday that it has acquired AEP, a French service provider and distributor of compressors, for an undisclosed sum.

AEP is a privately owned company and has 8 employees. It is located south of Paris, in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge and serves small to medium-sized customers in industries such as manufacturing, food and beverage, and automotive.

Atlas Copco said the purchase price isn't material relative to its market capitalization.
