Moderna Inc. has reached a deal to supply Peru's government with 20 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, the company said Friday.

Cambridge, Mass.-based Moderna will begin supplying the doses in next year's first quarter, the company said.

The vaccine is not currently approved for use in Peru. Moderna said it will work with regulators to gain the required approvals before the vaccine is distributed.
