Airbus SE on Tuesday revealed the next generation of its CityAirbus, an electric vehicle with fixed wings designed for urban air mobility.

The European plane maker said the CityAirbus will have a range of 80 kilometers and a cruise speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and will be able to hold up to four people.

The air vehicle--which won't emit emissions during flights--is in design phase and Airbus expects the first flight of a prototype CityAirbus NextGen for 2023, it said. Certification is expected around 2025.
