Amazon.com Hiring Event Draws 1 Million Applicants

Amazon.com Inc. said Friday that its 2021 career-day event drew
more than 1 million job applicants globally.
Applications came in for corporate, tech and hourly jobs from
more than 500,000 U.S. workers since the company announced the
hiring event Sept. 1, Amazon said.
More than 220,000 job applicants visited the hiring event's
website, according to Amazon. Thirty-thousand job seekers took the
company up on one-on-one career-coaching sessions with Amazon
recruiters.
