HCA Healthcare Names Mosier as Chief Nurse Executive

HCA Healthcare Inc. on Thursday said it named Sammie Mosier
senior vice president and chief nurse executive, effective Dec.
1.
The Nashville, Tenn., healthcare-services provider said Ms.
Mosier, who has been with HCA for 25 years and currently serves as
vice president and chief nurse executive of its national group,
succeeds Jane Englebright, who is retiring at the end of the
year.
HCA's chief nurse executive leads the agenda in advancing the
practice of nursing among the company's more than 90,000
nurses.
Ms. Englebright, who joined HCA in 1992, became the company's
first chief nurse executive in 2007.
