Equinor Offered Two Operated Production Licences in Barents Sea

Norwegian energy group Equinor ASA said Wednesday that it has
been offered two operated production licences in the 25th licensing
round in the Barents Sea.
Norway's Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has offered Equinor
production licences PL1133 and PL1134 in the Hoop area in the
Barents Sea, a location that will enable tie-in of any discoveries
to the Wisting field in the Barent Sea, it said.
"This award brings opportunities for exploring volumes near
planned infrastructure," said Jez Averty, senior vice president for
subsurface at Equinor.
