HCA Healthcare Inc. on Thursday said it agreed to sell Redmond Regional Medical Center, a 230-bed hospital in Rome, Ga., to AdventHealth for about $635 million.

The Nashville, Tenn., healthcare-services provider, which earlier this month announced the sale of four hospitals in Georgia for $950 million, said the latest deal completes its divestiture of hospitals in the Atlanta area.

HCA, which recently acquired Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia, will still operate four hospitals in the state after the sale, which it expects to complete in the third quarter.
