Flutter Entertainment PLC said Wednesday that Matt King, chief executive of its U.S. FanDuel subsidiary, has given notice to leave the group and will step down once a successor is appointed.

The Dublin-based sports-betting and gambling group said it continues to assess the potential merits of listing a small stake in FanDuel in the U.S. but that Mr. King's departure will affect the timing of a potential listing.
