Italy's industrial production increased in February for the third straight month, according to data released Tuesday by the country's statistics office, Istat.

The industrial production index rose 0.2% in seasonally-adjusted terms from the prior month, compared with an upwardly revised 1.1% monthly increase in January.

On an annual basis, Italy's industrial production fell by 0.6% in February in calendar-adjusted terms.
