IBM Names Keinan as Group President for Independent Managed Infrastructure Services Business

International Business Machines Corp. on Wednesday said it named Elly Keinan as group president for the independent company that will be created following the separation of IBM's Managed Infrastructure Services business.

Maria Bartolome Winans was named as NewCo's chief marketing officer.

IBM said the company's new name would be unveiled in the coming months and the separation is expected to occur by the end of 2021.

Mr. Keinan is a veteran of more than three decades in the technology industry, most recently as a venture partner of Pitango Venture Capital, the company said. He served as general manager of IBM North America, general manager of IBM Latin America, and chairman of IBM Japan.

Ms. Winans has held top marketing roles in her 25-year career at IBM and has spent the last three years as the chief marketing officer for IBM Americas, the company said.
