Audi AG said Monday that it has appointed Juergen Rittersberger as its new chief financial officer starting from April.

The German car maker, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, said Mr. Rittersberger is set to become member of the board in charge of finance and legal affairs.

He will succeed current CFO Arno Antlitz, who will become CFO of the Volkswagen group.

Mr. Rittersberger has previously served as general secretary and senior vice president of group strategy at Volkswagen.
