Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 16, 2021, Sanchez Midstream Partners LP (the “Partnership”) announced the change of the Partnership’s name to Evolve Transition Infrastructure LP, which the Partnership anticipates will become effective after market on Friday, February 26, 2021.

In addition, Sanchez Midstream Partners GP LLC, the general partner of the Partnership, will change its name to Evolve Transition Infrastructure GP LLC, which is also anticipated to become effective after market on Friday, February 26, 2021.

On February 16, 2021, the Partnership issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, announcing the name change.
