Polyus PJSC on Thursday reported 2020 gold production in line
with expectations and forecast slightly lower output for 2021.
The Russian gold miner produced 2.77 million gold ounces last
year, broadly in line with its 2.8 million ounces target but 3%
lower than in 2019. Fourth-quarter production fell 8% from the
July-September period.
For 2021 the company expects that output will decrease to around
2.7 million ounces.
