Chubb Ltd. Chief Financial Officer Philip Bancroft will retire from the company on July 1, the Zurich-based insurance company said Friday.

Mr. Bancroft, who worked for Chubb for 19 years, will be succeeded by Peter Enns, the company said. Mr. Enns will join Chubb as an executive vice president by April 1.

Mr. Enns was most recently an executive at HSBC Holdings Plc, where he was global co-head of investment-banking coverage and was based in Hong Kong. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., including as chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs Canada.

Mr. Bancroft will keep an advisory role at the company for the rest of 2021, Chubb said.
