Deutsche Bank AG said Friday that it agreed a partnership with
Alphabet Inc.'s Google Cloud to speed up the bank's transition to
the cloud and to create new products and services.
The German bank said the multi-year partnership is the first of
its kind in the financial-services industry. The partnership could
see new lending products, as well as creating a unified interface
for customers to view products from Deutsche Bank and its retail
bank Postbank.
Deutsche Bank and Google Cloud also intend to partner with
start-ups and fintech companies, the bank said.
