Explanation of Responses:

(1)

The reporting person is trustee of a family trust, of which a child of his is a beneficiary. On November 23, 2020, the reporting person caused the trust to distribute 11,500 shares of common stock of PennantPark Investment Corporation to beneficiaries of the trust. The reporting person disclaims beneficial ownership of the securities held by the trust except to the extent of his pecuniary interest therein.
