STOCKHOLM--Ericsson AB said Wednesday it has been selected by Telia Company AB to modernize its existing fourth generation networks across Sweden and Estonia.

The network equipment vendor said the five-year, multi-billion Swedish kronor, critical national infrastructure network deal will see it deliver radio access network technology to base stations in order to modernize Telia's 4G networks and upgrade them to 5G.
