Vinci SA said Thursday that its energy business Vinci Energies is acquiring Transelec Common Inc. to continue its expansion in North America.

The French construction and infrastructure company didn't disclose the financial terms of the takeover.

Transelec Common is an energy and telecommunication infrastructure company based in Quebec and had a revenue of 300 million Canadian dollars ($225.2 million) in 2019.
