Starbucks Corp.'s board has approved an almost 10% raise to the company's quarterly dividend.

The new quarterly dividend will be 45 cents a share, up from 41 cents apiece.

This will also increase the company's annual dividend to $1.80 a share, Starbucks said Wednesday.
