Novatek said Monday that its NOVATEK-Tarkosaleneftegas subsidiary has begun pilot production from gas condensate-bearing layers at two fields in Russia.

The operation is taking place at the North-Russkoye and East-Tazovskoye fields, which have a total annual production capacity of 7.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas as well as 1 million tons of gas condensate, the company said.
