Irish budget airline Ryanair Holdings PLC said Tuesday that it
is cutting its Ireland-U.K. schedules for August and September due
to Ireland's quarantine restrictions on EU visitors.
Ryanair said it will cut up to 1,000 flights between Ireland and
the U.K., which it estimates will lose over 200,000 passengers to
the country. Ireland accounts for less than 8% of Ryanair's
traffic.
Currently passengers flying to Ireland from the EU have to
quarantine for 14 days due to the coronavirus pandemic.
