MICRON WASTE AND SUBSIDIARY COVID TECHNOLOGIES INC.
APPLAUD RECENT SUCCESS OF USING MEDICAL FACE MASKS TO
PREVENT SPREAD OF COVID DISEASE

Vancouver, May 26, 2020 Micron Waste Technologies Inc. ("Micron" or the "Company") (CSE: MWM, OTC: MICWF, Frankfurt: 7FM2, OTCQB: MICWF), and its 100% owned subsidiary Covid Technologies Inc., are pleased to report that the worldwide community is achieving high levels of success in using face masks to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

As many provinces across Canada begin to loosen public health restrictions and gradually open their economies, Canada's Chief Public Health Officer is officially recommending that people wear non-medical masks to help protect others in situations where physical distancing is not possible.  Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said non-medical masks can stop a wearer from spraying droplets on others if they're sneezing or coughing which means that wearing a non-medical mask could help curb transmission, especially amid reports of asymptomatic carriers.

In the United States of America, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC") advises on the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not it from transmitting it to others.  While masks and face coverings are recommended but not required for those that go out in public during the coronavirus pandemic, seven US States took guidance further and require residents to cover their faces when they visit essential businesses or use public transportation.
