Shenandoah Telecommunications Co., whose wireless segment has been a Sprint affiliate, is in discussions with Sprint's new owner, T-Mobile US Inc., after receiving a conversion notice.

The affiliate agreement provides for a 90-day period for the parties to negotiate mutually agreeable terms for Shenandoah to continue as a T-Mobile affiliate.

Shenandoah shares fell 5.6% to $48.66 on Tuesday.
