L'Oreal SA said Monday that there will be no layoffs in France and that it won't use short-time working in the country until the end of June despite the halting, partial or total, of several activities.

The French cosmetic and consumer-goods company said that salaries will also be maintained in France, where more than 3,000 of its 13,400 employees are currently not working.

Furthermore, L'Oreal has made available its operational facilities in France and China in order to help the French state to order masks and respirators, it said.
