TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2020 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire
Corporation, Limited (TSX:CTC, TSX:CTC.A) (CTC) today announced two
senior executive appointments: Gregory
Craig as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial
Officer (CFO), CTC; and Mahes
Wickramasinghe as President, Canadian Tire Financial
Services (CTFS) and President and Chief Executive Officer, Canadian
Tire Bank. Both appointments are effective March 2, 2020.

Mr. Craig is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified
Management Accountant with over 25 years of experience at CTC.
During that time, he has held progressively senior finance roles
within the enterprise and played an integral role in the
acquisition of Sport Chek (then The Forzani Group) in 2012. He was
subsequently named CFO of Sport Chek and Mark's, and thereafter as
CFO of Canadian Tire's Retail segment. Most recently, Mr. Craig has
served as President, CTFS and as President and CEO, Canadian Tire
Bank. Under his leadership, the Bank has achieved significant
growth and successfully launched the Triangle credit card
program.
Mr. Craig succeeds Dean McCann as
Chief Financial Officer of CTC. As previously announced, Mr. McCann
is retiring effective March 2, 2020,
but will continue as a Director of Canadian Tire Bank and a Trustee
of CT REIT.

Mr. Wickramasinghe is a Certified Public Accountant
(U.S.A) and a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) with extensive
banking experience which will further strengthen the role of
Financial Services as an integral part of CTC's overall growth
strategy. He has served in a range of senior roles within CIBC,
including Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of CIBC
Amicus, Chief Administrative Officer of CIBC Retail Bank and Chief
Administrative Officer of CIBC First Caribbean International Bank.
Mr. Wickramasinghe joined CTC in 2014 as Executive Vice-President
and Chief Corporate Officer, CTC, overseeing corporate strategy,
risk management, and international operations. He will continue in
his roles as Chairman of the Helly Hansen Board of Directors, and
Executive Vice-President, CTC.
